Surgical Procedures

In accordance with all modern medical standards and those of the Otorhinolaryngology (ENT) specialty, the following surgical procedures are performed. The procedures take place in Hospitals and Clinics with which the doctor is affiliated, utilizing the most modern tools offered by biomedical technology:

General Otorhinolaryngology (ENT) Procedures:

  • Adenoidectomy (or Adenotomy) - commonly known as removal of the 'adenoids'
  • Tonsillectomy
  • Procedures for the treatment of snoring (uvulopalatoplasty, Laser palatoplasty)

Nasal Procedures (Rhinology):

  • Septoplasty (for nasal septum deviation) and nasal valve reconstruction
  • Functional Endoscopic Sinus Surgery (FESS)

Laryngology:

  • Laser surgery for bilateral vocal cord paralysis
  • Microlaryngoscopy procedure for the investigation of laryngeal lesions
  • Placement of speech (phonation) valves in patients who have undergone Laryngectomy

Phonosurgery:

  • Phonomicrosurgery - For the treatment of benign vocal cord lesions
  • Laryngoplasties - "voice lift" with injections into the vocal cords
  • Botox injections into the vocal cords for the treatment of spasmodic dysphonia

Oncology:

  • Transoral laser procedures for the treatment of Laryngeal cancer
  • Neck and salivary gland surgeries
  • Thyroid gland surgery (total thyroidectomy) and parathyroid surgery
